Prospecting in Australia

Hi All

I will be back in Australia in a few weeks and would be very interested in finding someone interested in panning or detecting. I have panned several times before and have basic skills, but don't know how to swing a detector. I travel a lot so either the Vic or NSW fields are easy for me to get to.... Anyone?

There are Australian gold prospecting forums. I'd suggest checking in at one of them - they are full with folks who prospect in OZ regularly.
